Emergency
Care - On most occasions we see same-day emergencies.
From
toothaches to lost fillings we aim to give our patients relief in their
time of need.
Teeth
Bleaching
- We use the Opalescence product line for teeth whitening. We
offer an in-office Boost treatment along with custom-made take-home
trays for bleaching gel that is so strong that you can only get it from
a dentist. We also do single-tooth bleaching for those
stubborn
dark teeth that you have had endodontic therapy on.
Veneers
- There are
many reasons to get veneers. From gummy
smiles to discoloration to poor alignment. Come in for a cosmetic
evaluation and we can discuss what is best for you.
Implants
- A dental implant is a titanium root placed into your jaw that
supports a crown or denture. For
almost all cases of missing teeth a dental implant is the new "gold
standard." Think of it as a tooth that looks like a tooth and
acts like a tooth, but can't get a cavity.
Cleanings/Check-ups
- We provide cleanings along with yearly x-rays and
doctor's exams. These exams include head and neck exam, oral
cancer screenings, gum health evaluation, TMJ evaluation, evaluation of
existing dental work, cavity detection and x-ray evaluation.
Same-Day
Dentures - We can deliver dentures the same day
that you
have teeth removed. This, however, does not mean only one
appointment. If you want a quality set of dentures planning
is
necessary, which requires some preliminary diagnostics, but you can
recieve those dentures the same day you get your teeth removed.
Sealants
- Some children can benefit from having the grooves in their
teeth sealed against bacteria and decay. This is a simple
procedure
completed with no injections or drilling. If indicated,
sealants
are a great way to fight cavities before they begin.
Tooth-matched
fillings - In most cases a tooth-matched filling can be
used. These fillings, unlike their silver counterparts are
actually bonded to the tooth and are usually not visible to the
untrained eye.
Amalgam
fillings
- These
filling materials are still widely used because of their durability and
longevity. There is long history of success with this
filling material and they have been proven safe time and time again by
the FDA and the ADA.
For more
information on amalgam fillings, please watch this video... (Broadband
/ Dial-up).
Crowns/Bridges
- Often referred to as "caps," these fit over existing teeth that have
broken down due to decay, age, or wear. We offer crowns and
bridges made of gold or porcelain to match your existing teeth.
Bite
splint therapy
- If you clench or grind your teeth, maybe resulting in headaches,
muscle soreness, or joint pain, splint therapy might be very beneficial
for you.
Endodontic
Therapy-
Commonly referred to as a "root canal," endodontic therapy is used to
save a tooth that has a cavity that is so large that the nerve inside
the tooth is damaged. When this occurs the nerve is no longer
viable and needs removal.
Extractions
- Sometimes a tooth is not salvageable. In that case the
tooth is
extracted and can be replaced with an implant, bridge, or denture if
you desire.
Scaling and
Root Planing-
Sometimes patients require more than a cleaning every six months.
If, during your examination, we discover that you have
periodontal (gum) disease we may recommend a deep cleaning to remove
tartar and bacteria deep below your gumline. We offer
comprehensive treatment for
gum disease, and perform regular gum health evaluations to inform and
educate you about your risk of disease and the affect this may have on
your overall health.
Sports Mouth
Guards - These are a must for all people involved in ANY
contact sport. For all patients of record we provide this
service
for free. For anyone that is not a patient they are available
for
$25. This fee doesn't even cover our cost, but we feel it is
important that anyone who wants a custom guard can afford one.
