Andrew Green, DDS
Dentist
I'm a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where I spent nine years honing my skills as a practitioner and cheering the football team on to victory on the weekend. I'm also a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Engineering, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I have always felt that the fields of engineering and dentistry complement each other well, and it has been fun to blend my skills in each respective area. I enjoy golfing, bird hunting, all things automotive, snowmobiling, technology, and traveling in my free time. Feel free to discuss any common pastimes or fill me in on others that you have grown to love during an appointment.
After graduation I relocated to Bay City, which is close to my hometown of Cass City - approximately 45 minutes away, where my father, Dr. Robert Green was a practitioner for over 30 years. He has now fully retired from his position at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
I am married to Sarah, whom you may see from time to time helping out in the office doing everything from answering phones to cleaning teeth. She is a registered dental hygienist and a very valuable member of our dental team even though she isn't present every day. We also have, daughter, Ava and two sons, Gavin, and Everett, who are growing up way too fast.
We are committed to Bay City and its residents, providing friendly care to anyone who wants to be part of our patient family.
Alana Hollis, DDS
Dentist
I am a proud graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry - Go Blue! - where I received my training to be a dentist just 10 minutes away from my hometown of Saline, Michigan. In addition, I attended Central Michigan University - Fire Up Chips! - where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. I love traveling to new places and seeking out the best food in the area. In my spare time I like to read and play volleyball, tennis and pickleball.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Max, who is a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual. We love going on walks and hikes with our 2 year old Vizsla puppy, Ruby. We are huge Michigan football and basketball fans and enjoy going to as many games as we can each season. We recently moved to a home in Saginaw Township and enjoy visiting new places in the tri-city area.
I am thankful that Dr. Bob Green, Dr. Green's father, was a faculty member and mentor to me at U of M. This led to meeting and working for Dr. Green, whom I have now practiced with for 2+ years.
We have an incredible staff and wonderful patients whom I am lucky to work with. We love Bay City and are excited to serve our community!
Shelly
Patient Care Coordinator
Shelly is one of our caring and capable assistants who has now moved into the role of patient care coordinator. Having worked at the practice for 25 years, she will always make you feel at ease while in the dental chair. In her spare time, Shelly enjoys golfing, Rucking, and training her German Shepherd, Charly.
Kari
Dental Assistant
Kari graduated from the Delta College dental assisting program in 1985 and has been part of the practice for 30 years. In her spare time she loves to bake and craft. Recently, she became a Central Michigan University supporter where her daughter attends college, FIRE UP CHIPS! She is also an avid University of Michigan fan where both of her sons graduated, GO BLUE! Kari's husband is a builder and they have a pet dog, Ivy. Kari enjoys the interaction she has with patients, making them feel comfortable and at ease while they are receiving the quality dental care they deserve.
Kelly
Dental Hygienist
Kelly is one of our wonderful hygienists, having been with the practice over 20 years. She always has a smile and a laugh for you, in between reminding you that you need to floss! A graduate of Ferris State University, she does a great job teaching patients how to care for their smile. Kelly enjoys scrapbooking, and is learning how to golf. Kelly has a Husky, Kota, who just can't stay out of the mud.
Jessica
Dental Assistant
Jessica has been assisting since 2019 and enjoys combining the world of dentistry with her background in art. In 2011, she graduated from Delta College with an Associates in Digital Imaging and Design. She loves animals, especially her cat Obi, charcoal drawing, and has been training in Taekwondo since 2009. She's a 4th degree black belt instructor and has held classes at 10 different schools, including Delta College. She has also held self defense/anti bullying seminars in elementary schools and for the Boys and Girls Club in Bay City.
Lindsay
Hygienist
Lindsay is a 2011 graduate of the Delta College Dental Hygiene program along with an associate degree in General Management. Lindsay is grateful to be part of an outstanding team that values patients safety and oral health to maintain a lifelong smile. Lindsay lives in Linwood with her husband Lathan and her boys, Gavin and Lucas. She enjoys many outdoor activities with her family, especially spending the summers camping and going to the beach.
Nichole
Patient Care Coordinator
Nichole graduated from Ross Medical for dental assisting in 2011 and has transitioned her dental treatment knowledge and front desk administration certification from CMU into a patient care coordination position with Dr. Green. She has a daughter, Gracie, and enjoys Tigers baseball, camping, and kayaking.
Julie
Hygienist
Julie earned her dual degrees in Dental Hygiene and Marketing and Sales BS, from Ferris State University, where she pursued both her passion for dental care and business. During her time in dental hygiene school, she balanced her studies while gaining hands-on experience. Outside of work, Julie enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time at her family's cabin. She's also an avid reader —always ready to swap book recommendations. If you're a fellow book lover, don't hesitate to share your favorites with her.
