Intra-oral scanning - This process takes the place of physical impressions for many of our procedures. Instead of placing a tray full of impression material into your mouth from 1-5 minutes, for many of our procedures we use a laser/video wand to 3D map your mouth to create a digital model.
CAD/CAM - Using the 3D map we gather with the intra-oral scanner we can now design and manufacture your dental prosthetics. Final crowns can be done in one appointment using the same techniques and materials used when sending to the lab, which can take weeks.
Cone Beam CBCT imaging - For some procedures, having a 3D map of your jaw is a major benefit and can allow us to diagnose and treat problems that previously were near impossible to solve. We can combine this image with the 3D image of your mouth to plan complete treatments, such as challenging implant cases, all digitally before we consider doing the treatment in your mouth.
3D Printing - Using the above technologies we can print certain dental apparatus that will guide or provide treatment for certain dental conditions.
Digital X-Rays - We use digital x-ray sensors in our office, this gives us instant feedback on your condition and uses a lower radiation dose than the already low dose of film.
